Cheryl Lee Logsdon, 73, of Horse Cave, passed away peacefully at home July 1st, 2020. Cheryl was a member of Cave Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was born in California where she lived until marrying her husband of 50 years, Hershell Logsdon. Cheryl was a devoted wife and mother and worked for several years at the Hart County News-Herald until retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershell; son Jeremy Logsdon; brother-in-law Royce Logsdon; brother-in-law Emmet Crain; sister-in-law Joyce Logsdon; nephews David Logsdon and Barry Crain; cousins, Dick Pontious and Jim Pontious; and maternal grandparents.
She is survived by daughter Patti Markwell and husband Dana, Horse Cave; brother Jack Anderson, Arizona; brother-in-law Herman Logsdon and wife Kathy, Munfordville; brother-in-law Herbert “Tots” Logsdon and wife Lillian, Horse Cave; sister-in-law Loretta Crain, Horse Cave; sister-in-law Betty Logsdon, Munfordville; several nieces, nephews and other family.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, Saturday, July 4, 2020 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hawkins and Bro. Jimmy Miller officiating. Interment will be at Logsdon Family Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
