The Barren County Trojans opened their 2019-20 season Tuesday night and dominated visiting Green County, 85-47.
“I thought we had great energy from the get-go and it was really contagious with everybody we put in there,” Barren County coach Warren Cunningham said.
The Trojans were sharp shooting their 3-pointers against Green County.
“A lot of it had to do with the kinds of 3s we shot, where the ball goes (inside) and comes back out. We made several like that either off the drive or off the rebound and we kicked it back out,” Cunningham said. “It’s going to be a big key. If we can do that, it gives us another dimension offensively.”
Barren County nailed eight 3-pointers in the win.
