Cave City PD Make Arrest in Burglary PDF Print

On July 7th, the Cave City Police Department responded to a call of a burglary at T&N Laundromat on Dixie Highway in Cave City. The suspect had broken a window to gain entry, and then stole several items and cash from inside. After investigation the Cave Police interviewed a suspect 20 year old Matthew Wright, of Cave City.

On Saturday, Cave City Chief Jeff Wright and Major Darrell Butler arrested Wright on charges of BURGLARY 3RD DEGREE, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE.

 

On Sunday, Cave City Officers Alan Shirley and Terrill Riley responded to a call of a domestic assault at 607 Doris Ave in Cave City. Upon investigation, 25 year old Gloria Evans of Cave City was arrested for ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURIES) for assaulting her husband.

 

Both Wright and Evans were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
