Rene Dee “Dee Dee” Gay-Lang, 58, of Sweeden died at 8:53 PM Jan. 2, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

The Taylor, MI native was a retired 911 emergency dispatcher for Village of Milford Police Dept. She was a daughter of the late Cecil Seybourn Lang and Gloria Mae Portwood Lang. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra Fiolek; a sister, Cheryl Zimmerman; and a brother, Billy Lang.

Surviving are her husband, John Gay; three daughters, Lea Brunner of Seattle, WA, Shannon Fiolek of Apopka, FL and Courtney Diaz of Ann Arbor, MI; a son, Michael Fiolek of New Baltimore, MI; three step daughters, Alyson Gay of Novi, MI and Katherine Gay and Megan Gay both of Walled Lake, MI; two step sons, Eric Gay of Jackson, MI and Adam Gay of Livonia, MI; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was a member with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Friday, 9 AM-9 PM Saturday and after 9 AM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home.
