SAVOYARD — A Barren County man was charged last Monday in an earlier reported burglary along Hiseville-Center Road.
Authorities responded to a burglary complaint on April 12 around 7:30 p.m.
A victim alleged the resident belonged to a deceased parent, and it was unoccupied. Authorities investigated and said the suspect gained entry through the side door.
The suspect allegedly removed several items of value, including jewelry. Officials determined the suspect through an investigation and “evidence recovered” at the scene.
Christopher A. O’Brien, 42, of Cave City, was served an arrest warrant while lodged at the Hart County Jail on unrelated charges. He was later transferred to the Barren County Detention Center.
He remains lodged at the jail and faces second and third degree burglary and second degree criminal mischief charges.
