GLASGOW — Authorities responded to a vehicle collision Saturday that left a car turned on its side and sent four people to the hospital.
The crash happened along Happy Valley Road near the Glasgow public pool. The crash happened when a car turned into the path of another vehicle. Police said Tamra Murphy was driving southbound along Shalimar Drive and turned left onto Happy Valley Road. Another vehicle crashed into hers and it left the car on its side.
The Glasgow Fire Department was able to free the individuals from the nearly overturned vehicle. Several people were transported to the local hospital, including Tamra Murphy, Felicia Curry and a juvenile. Kentavius Alexander, who hit the vehicle turning left, was also transported.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. Michael Burgan.
