R E Gentry, 87, of Mount Hermon, KY passed away Friday, April 8th, suddenly, at his Residence in Mt. Hermon, KY.
R E was born in Monroe County, KY on December 4, 1934, a son of the late Minnie Frances (Doss) and Frank Gentry. He was married to the late Geraldine Clarkson Gentry, who passed April 13, 2005. He was employed at Graham Pallet in Tompkinsville, KY., for 17 years and was a farmer and was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church.
R E is survived by a daughter, Mary, wife of Greg Wheeler, of Mount Hermon, KY.
five sons Roger, husband of Gloria Gennings, of Sandlick, KY; Roy Gentry, Terry, husband of Sandra Gentry, Michael Gentry, Troy Gentry & Karla, daughter-in-law, Beth Gentry of all Mt. Hermon, KY, 22 Grandchildren & 25 Great-grandchildren
His parents, wife, Geraldine, son, Tony Gentry, brothers, Richard “Rabbit” Gentry & 3 infants & half-sister, Gladys Woods preceded him in death.
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Tuesday, April 12th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Paul Mills will officiate.
Visitation will be held 5 PM to 8 PM on Monday, April 11th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY & 8 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, April 12th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
