GLASGOW — Fire crews responded to a house fire along Lexington Drive Thursday afternoon.

Units were dispatched at 5:09 p.m., according to a news release from the Glasgow Fire Department. Units observed light smoke coming from the backside of the home when they arrived.

The fire was located in a bedroom under a bed, just under the headboard, fire officials said. An investigation discovered the fire was electrical in nature. No foul play was suspected.

Firefighters rescued two dogs and one cat from the home. They were on the scene for about an hour.
