GLASGOW — Police said a few people were arrested Saturday after drugs were discovered inside vehicles during traffic stops.

Two people from Edmonton were arrested after police conducted a traffic stop along McKenna Street.

Officers noted an odor like marijuana inside the vehicle. Officers later located marijuana, a glass pipe and methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Christina Milton, a passenger inside the car, had an active warrant, police said.

Jeffery L. Dugger and Milton was arrested. The two face first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana.

Milton also faces a first degree promoting contraband charge.

Another traffic stop in the city led to a drug arrest, too.

Police stopped a vehicle traveling along Happy Valley. The driver consented to a vehicle search, and methamphetamine was discovered inside the vehicle. The person also had marijuana in their possession.

Anthony K. Lindsey, of Cave City, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, first degree possession of a controlled substance and one headlight.
