Charles A. Compton, 31, was arrested Sunday after he purportedly assaulted two females in Metcalfe County.

CENTER, Ky. — Authorities in Metcalfe County arrested a man Sunday following an assault complaint.
A deputy responded to investigate the matter. He discovered two females at a residence along Milton Downs Road with injuries sustained from an assault.
Charles A. Compton, 31, of Center, purportedly assaulted the women, according to a news release from the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office.
Compton returned to the home while the deputy was investigating the incident. He was placed under arrest and charged with second degree assault, fourth degree assault (domestic violence) and fourth degree assault (minor injury).
