MUNFORDVILLE — A Bowling Green man died Sunday afternoon in an interstate crash.
Police said the crash happened around 1 p.m. The call was reported as a two vehicle fatal collision in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65. It happened near mile marker 67, just north of Munfordville.
The preliminary investigation revealed Martin Mutabazi, 28, of Bowling Green, collided with a semi-truck trailer in the northbound lane. The man was killed during the crash.
Abdinasir Adan, 48, of Barron, Wis., was the semi’s driver. It’s unclear if he was injured.
Kentucky State Police continues to investigate the crash.
