HISEVILLE — A weekend tornado left patches of destruction across northwestern Barren County, including at the Hiseville Cemetery.
The Hiseville Cemetery Board respectfully asks the community to refrain from fixating headstones back to grave sites. Some headstones across the cemetery were impacted by the weekend storms.
“The Board is diligently working to ensure an inventory is properly done of the damage at the cemetery,” according to a news release from the Hiseville Cemetery Board.
The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado in the area. Cleanup will continue across the community in the coming days.
