SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. — A man died in Allen County Monday evening after he was shot.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday they responded to Old Gainesville Road around 6:30 p.m. Authorities responded to a call regarding a person who had been shot outside a home.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Matthew Mills. He was treated at the scene and later taken to the Medical Center at Scottsville where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force continues to investigate.
