GLASGOW, Ky. — Members of a project development board could vote to acquire property this week for a new judicial center in Barren County.

The Project Development Board of the Barren County Judicial Center is tasked with planning and executing the installation of a new judicial center in Barren County. The group is scheduled to meet Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Barren County fiscal courtroom.

Funding for the project is provided by the Administrative Office of the Courts. The money is solely designated for the construction of a new judicial center.

The board is expected to go into closed session to discuss further acquisition of property for the project. If property is acquired, the board must reveal their decision in an open session, according to the Kentucky Open Meetings Act.

The meeting is open to the public.
