GLASGOW, Ky. — A stolen vehicle was recovered from Barren River Lake Sunday.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded just after 1:30 p.m. to the Beaver Creek Boat Ramp. A vehicle was apparently submerged in the water and someone discovered it.
A dive team investigated the report and discovered a 2011 Nissan Titan at the end of the boat ramp. The vehicle was previously entered as stolen.
Shoopman’s Wrecker Service retrieved the truck from the water.
An eyewitness reported the truck “had been in there a long time.” It’s uncertain how long the truck was submerged in the water.
