Glasgow Police respond to shooting on Ann Avenue

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department responded to a shooting Sunday on Ann Avenue between the hours of 11 p.m. and midnight.

According to GPD public information officer Terry Flatt, officers responded to the scene where a victim had been shot and the suspect had fled as a passenger in a white four-door sedan with tinted windows and a chrome trim package similar to a Ford Fusion. The vehicle, which left in an unknown direction of travel, had a white female driver.

 

The victim, who has been identified as 54-year-old Melissa A. Miller, was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital and pronounced dead.

According to Flatt, the GPD has received “some leads”, but the investigation is still ongoing.

“We have every detective we have working on the case,” Flatt said.
