GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a house fire early Friday morning.
Officials were dispatched at 2:08 a.m. to 110 Humble Avenue for a possible structure fire.
Upon arrival, fire personnel extinguished the flames, completed a search of the house and determined that it was unoccupied at the time.
The fire department used 2,500 gallons of water to put out the fire and was on scene for approximately two hours, with assistance from the Glasgow Police Department and Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
The house sustained significant damage to the rear area of the structure, but no injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
