On November 11th, a traffic stop was conducted on a suspected DUI driver. After the stop, Deputy Butler deployed K9 Rina whom he gave a positive alert on the vehicle.
49 year old, Timothy L Hayes was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of controlled substance 1st offense, possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, along with multiple traffic violations.
Hayes was transported and lodged in the Hart County Jail. Involved in the investigation was the Horse Cave Police Department, Hart County Sheriff’s office and Kentucky State Police.
