Lillian Louise Broady, 85, passed away on October 24, 2026, at her residence in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was born on October 8, 1941, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Horace Hare and the late Zelma Morgan Hare.

Lillian spent several years working in the cafeteria at Eastern Elementary and Glasgow Christian Academy. She loved her work and especially enjoyed being around the children she served each day. Her caring nature and warm spirit were reflected in the way she carried out even the ordinary moments of life, and she brought that same kindness into her home, her church, and her community.

Her faith was an important part of her life. Lillian loved her church and church family and was very active in the community at Coral Hill Baptist Church. She also participated and was very active in the Higher Ground Drama Ministry. During the time she attended Glasgow Bible Church, she served as a Sunday School teacher. She shared her gifts in many ways, including her wonderful baking skills. Whether making a decorated cake for a special event or preparing holiday candy, she was known for creating things that brought joy to others. Above all, she loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Sowers (David), and Lori Mitchell (Tommy); her grandchildren, Justin Sowers (Rayli) and Matt Mitchell (Betty Jane); her great-grandchildren, Gracie Sowers, Jon Michael Sowers, Milo Mitchell, Luca Mitchell, and one on the way; her sisters, Linda Ford (Jim), and Gina Robertson (Terry); her sister-in-law, Nancy Broady; and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered with love by all who were blessed to share in her life, her faith, and her generous heart.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Broady; her brothers, Carroll Hare and Larry Hare; her sisters-in-law, Betty Hare and Connie Hare; and her brother-in-law, Mack Circle.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and after 8:00 AM Wednesday, until time for the service at the funeral home.
