The Barren County Tiny Trojan Learning Bus is scheduled to visit Dollar General at 4830 Scottsville Road on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to the provided schedule.
The program serves young children ages 1-5 who are not currently enrolled in school. Sessions last one hour, with Wednesday’s visit scheduled to conclude at 12:30 p.m.
Parents are invited to come aboard with their child during the child’s first visit, according to the program guidelines. After that initial visit, parents are asked to wait in their vehicles because space inside the bus is limited.
The guidelines also ask families not to bring personal toys aboard. That request is intended to keep those toys from getting misplaced during a visit.
For safety, children must remain on the bus until the session ends or until they are ready to leave. Children are not allowed to go back and forth between the bus and outside during the session, according to the guidelines.
The provided schedule lists another Dollar General visit the following week. That stop will take place at a different address, on West Hiseville Main Street, rather than at the Scottsville Road location.
