Student Trace Brooking, who played a key role in the club’s formation, shared his excitement about the initiative. “It’s very student-oriented and going to be an amazing club,” Brooking said. The club gained significant interest with 95 students giving interest signatures during a recent club rush event.

Jamie McMillan, who sponsors the club, is passionate about hiking and has explored numerous trails across the country. “When the students came to me with this idea, I was so excited for them,” McMillan said.
