Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon near Hiseville.
Barren County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Ky. 70 and Peterson Road at about 2:30 p.m.
“Upon arrival, deputies determined that a 2013 Ford Escape, operated by Melissa Lile of Cave City, was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by Fairly Piercy,” a sheriff’s office press release stated. “Piercy and another passenger in his vehicle were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. Lile was also transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment.”
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services, Hiseville Fire Department, and Cave City Fire Department personnel.
