Midmark Corp. has celebrated the renovation of its Glasgow facility, highlighting new investment in both its operations and the local community.
Local leaders joined Midmark teammates, company leadership and community partners at the recent event.
The renovated facility features enhanced workspaces, updated technology and expanded teammate amenities, according to information provided with the event, according to a press release from Midmark. Those improvements are intended to support the manufacturing of products used in medical, dental and veterinary care across the country.
The celebration also focused on Midmark’s community involvement.
Proceeds from the event are benefiting Nona’s Nest and the Barren River Animal Welfare Association through the support of The Midmark Foundation, the release stated. The charitable component underscores Midmark’s commitment to giving back in the communities where it operates.
Midmark was founded in 1915 and is headquartered in Versailles, Ohio. The company has several other locations in the United States and international subsidiaries in India and Italy. The Glasgow facility is one of six Midmark locations in the U.S.
Industry information from 2024 indicates Midmark employs about 40 people at the Glasgow site.
Local leaders say the renovation and continued investment appear to reinforce Glasgow’s role in the company’s broader manufacturing network.
