A Glasgow man was arrested after a Glasgow Police Department investigation found that he intended to meet with a juvenile for sexual purposes.
Glasgow police responded to a residence off Lexington Drive on Tuesday in reference to a complaint, according to a press release from the department.
“Preliminary investigation determined that Kalvin Lee Timm had met a male subject on the website ‘Grindr’ and went to the residence to meet up for sexual purposes,” the press release states. “The investigation determined the male subject that Kalvin Timm was meeting turned out to be a juvenile.”
Timm, 32 of Glasgow, was arrested by Glasgow police on June 10 and charged with third-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse and is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center, according to the jail’s website. He has a $750,000 cash bond and his next court appearance is set for 12:30 p.m. on June 11.
