STAFF REPORT
Glasgow News 1
Local artists of all ages are encouraged to participate in Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library’s bookmark design contest. This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story,” and artists are challenged to explore a world of dinosaurs, fossils and ancient discoveries.
Whether you recreate prehistoric creatures or hidden treasures of the past, the library wants to see your imagination come to life. Children, tweens, teens, young adults, and adults can submit an original bookmark design inspired by the theme.
A winner will be selected from the following age groups: 8 & under, 9–12, 13–18, 19–25, 26 & older. Winning designs will be printed and shared throughout the library, and each artist will be recognized during the library’s 110th Birthday Bash on June 5th.
Entry forms are available online or at the library’s Youth Services Desk. All submissions must be received by 4 p.m. on May 29.
