Glasgow graduate Will McCoy has been announced as the new boys’ basketball coach at Franklin-Simpson High School.
McCoy has been the head coach at Greenwood in Warren County. His resignation from that position was announced earlier in the week. He amassed 121 wins in seven seasons as the head coach of the Gators, according to a press release from Franklin-Simpson. He was named the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches’ Fourth Region Coach of the Year following the 2025-26 season.
Prior to becoming a head coach, McCoy was an assistant at Barren County under Warren Cunningham.
There will be a press conference on Monday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the FSHS Performing Arts Center.
