One driver was injured in a two-vehicle collision at a busy Glasgow intersection Tuesday night, according to the Glasgow Police Department.
Officers responded around 10:05 p.m. to the intersection of West Main Street and North L. Roger Wells Boulevard for a report of an injury crash. In a preliminary investigation, a 2024 Chevy Trax driven by Sierra Slone was traveling south on L. Roger Wells Boulevard and attempting to make a left turn onto West Main Street. As the Trax turned, it collided with a 2012 Chevy Tahoe driven by Jazmin Elizalde Rivera, according to a police press release.
Barren–Metcalfe EMS took Slone from the scene for treatment of her injuries, according to the release. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The collision was investigated by Officer Mathew Rishkofski of the Glasgow Police Department. Barren–Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department assisted at the scene.
