A Glasgow family is asking for community support after the death of Ava Woodcock and her unborn child.

Fundraiser donations will cover funeral expenses  and “ongoing needs,” such as care of Woodcock’s young daughter, according to the GoFundMe page.

“No family is ever prepared for this kind of loss and trauma,” the fundraiser stated. “They are now facing not only deep emotional pain, but also significant financial burdens during this incredibly difficult time. This fundraiser has been created to support the Woodcock family as they walk through this tragedy.”

The fundraiser has a goal of $10,000 and was at $4,577 with 70 donations listed as of Wednesday morning.

“She was a good mom,” said Woodcock’s biological mother Amanda Eversole after the arraignment Wednesday of Brandon Bond. “I didn’t get enough time with her. She didn’t even get to live her life; she didn’t get to enjoy her children. Everyone is here for her and I hope she knows that.”

Bond is charged with murder and first-degree fetal homicide in connection with Woodcock’s death.

Donations can be made here.
