A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting that took place on Cleveland Avenue on April 6.
Twenty-five-year-old Brandon Lee Bond shot a woman while she was sitting in her vehicle after a domestic incident, according to Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt. Bond then fled the scene while armed with a weapon , he was located inside a wooded area and was taken into custody.
The unnamed woman was taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital and later flown to the University of Louisville Hospital with “life threatening injuries,” according to Flatt. The woman was pregnant.
Brandon Lee Bond is charged with first-degree attempted murder-Domestic Violence, first-degree attempted fetal homicide and first-degree fleeing/evading police, according to Flatt.
The arrest was made by Officer Colton Riley, assisted by other GPD Units, Barren County Sheriff’s Office, DTF Units and the DEA.

A man is in custody after a reported shooting in Glasgow.
The Glasgow Police Department responded Monday afternoon to the scene of a shooting on Cleveland Avenue near the intersection with S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard.
Law enforcement caught a suspect after a search, according to the police scanner and later confirmed by Terry Flatt, public information officer for Glasgow police.
“One male subject is in custody at this time,” Flatt said in a press release. “There is no danger to the community.
“The incident remains very active.”
The person shot was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital, according to the press release.
No other information is available at this time.
