A Glasgow man is facing kidnapping and assault charges after he was arrested on Thursday.
On Feb. 19, Glasgow police officers went to a residence on Lexington Drive in response to a disturbance call, according to a police press release.
A preliminary investigation reportedly determined that Troy Lawson, 42, had come to the residence and assaulted two females there before entering a bedroom, where he took a juvenile child and left the residence with the child, according to the press release.
Officers located Lawson and the child a short distance from the home and returned the unharmed juvenile to the home.
Lawson was arrested and is facing several charges. Those charges include public intoxication on a controlled substance, second-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault with minor injury, second-degree assault, kidnapping-minor and endangering the welfare of a minor.
The arrest was made by Officer Patrick Wade, according to the release.
