The Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education members are scheduled to meet on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at South Green Elementary to discuss the calendar committee’s recommendation.
As previously reported, the 2026-27 academic calendar that was unanimous recommended by the district committee has a start date of Aug. 25, an end date of May 21, 2027 and a fall break from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9. The recommendation needs approval before it is official.
Board members will also recognize an employee with an “Inspiring Greatness” award, and discuss and approve draft procedure recommendations for school staffing guidelines, according to the agenda.
