Barren, Glasgow and Caverna schools will use a Non-Traditional Instruction day tomorrow.
Unlike traditional snow days, Non-Traditional Instruction — or NTI — days count as instructional days and therefore do not have to be made up later in the academic year.
Barren County Schools used a snow day on Jan. 26 and a NTI day on Jan. 27 due to the continuation of hazardous county road conditions. Jan. 28 is NTI day #2 for the school district. Barren County Schools is also using NTI #3 on Thursday.
Glasgow Independent Schools will be using NTI day #2 on Jan. 28.
Likewise, Caverna Independent Schools has designated Jan. 28 as a NTI day. This is NTI day #5 for Caverna schools.
