Jenna Jackson is known around Park City for providing students with the means to advocate for themselves.
The speech language pathologist empowers students, said Brian Clifford, principal of Park City Elementary. He spoke about Jackson while she was being honored as the Classified Employee of the Month during the Barren County Schools January board of education meeting.
“Jenna is an exceptional communicator who empowers students with skills that extend far beyond the classroom,” Clifford said. “Through her work, students learn how to express their needs, listen with empathy and resolve conflicts in peaceful, productive ways — tools that build confidence, strengthen relationships and support lifelong success.
“Her calm presence and thoughtful instruction help students find their voices and use them responsibly.”
Clifford said Jackson consistently goes above and beyond, serving as the sixth-grade academic team coach and magnet coordinator. She also volunteers as a little league basketball coach.
“She greets students each and every morning in the car line with a smile,” Clifford said. “Calling each student by name and starting their day with encouragement.
“Conscientious, kind, always prepared and a true team player, Jenna Jackson exemplifies the very best of Park City.”
