Barren County used a dominant third quarter to pull away for an 81-47 win over Glasgow on Friday night.
The Trojanettes led the Lady Scotties, 44-32, at halftime of their 15th District showdown. They posted a 27-5 run in the third quarter to lead by 34 after three, 71-37.
Glasgow stayed close to the No. 1 team in the Fourth Region in the first quarter and trailed by 7, 27-20.
The Trojanettes improved to 18-2 overall and 4-0 in the 15th District. Glasgow fell to 4-15 and 1-4 in district action.
Mahalia Burton led Barren with 18 points, while Addy Slagle added 15, Shelby Byrd scored 12, and Ann Ashley Atkinson and Layla Harris each finished with 11.
Kayla Kirkpatrick led Glasgow with 18 points, while Riley Strode added 11, and Reese England finished with 7.
Glasgow is scheduled to play at Metcalfe County on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Barren County is scheduled to play at Allen County-Scottsville on Monday at 6 p.m. in a 15th District contest.
