Mary Lou Johnson, 92, of Alvaton, KY passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at her residence.
She is survived by her son Ronald (Nyjiona) Johnson of Scottsville, KY; Granddaughter Danyell Johnson (Chris Gulley); Great-Grandchildren Anna Washer of Goshen, KY and Mason Washer of Scottsville, KY.; Two Sisters Virginia Roskilly of Fairbury, Nebraska and Jane Whitaker of Bowling Green, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a retired employee of the Cabinet of Workforce Development and a Member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Goshen Lodge in Alvaton, KY. She was preceded in death by her Parents William B. Lawrence, Sr. and Lydia Neighbors Lawrence ; her Brother William B. Lawrence, Jr. ; her Sister-in-law Laura Jo Neighbors Lawrence; and her Husband Albert Harrison Johnson. Special Thanks from the family goes to the staff of Hosparus of Barren River and Adriana Ash.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 3 pm at the Goshen Lodge in Alvaton, KY. In Lieu of flowers the Family requests donations be made to either the Eastern Star Home in Louisville, KY or to Hosparus of Barren River in Bowling Green, KY.
