David E. Husband, 68, Glasgow, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. A native of Jefferson County, he was the son of Joe Ed Husband and the late Betty Jean Drury Husband. He was a retired truck driver for Republic Services.
In addition to his father Joe Ed Husband of Louisville, he is survived by his wife Joy Husband; two children: Dave Husband (Valerie) of Louisville and Heidi Simpson (Bryan) of Bowling Green; four grandchildren: Damon Husband, Mason Simpson, Hallie Jo Simpson, and Tate Simpson; two sisters: Connie Bohannon (Greg) and Linda Wyatt (Billy); along with many dear family friends.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
