(November 2, 2023) Glasgow, KY — Farmer’s RECC is giving area high school juniors an opportunity to attend the Step Up And Lead Youth Tour in Washington DC in June 2024.
For more than 50 years, electric cooperatives across Kentucky have recognized outstanding high school students by providing a leadership experience for rising seniors.
During the tour, which includes all-expenses-paid day trip to Frankfort and a week-long trip to Washington DC, students will meet elected leaders, explore co-op energy issues, and make friends for life.
Applications for the 2024 Washington Youth Tour are now being accepted. Apply now at farmersrecc.com/wyt. The deadline to apply is December 29th.
