Rachel (Wilson) Glass, 77, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 31st, at Nortons Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Rachel was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 7, 1945, a daughter of the late Irene (Propes) and Hoover Wilson.
On June 1, 1963, she married Joe Mackey Glass in Tompkinsville, KY. Joe Mackey preceded her in death on January 13, 2020.
Rachel was a teacher in her early years of her career. She later became a co-owner of the ladies clothing store, The Casual Shoppe in Tompkinsville, KY, for many years.
Rachel is survived by a son, Colin Glass, and wife, Whitney, of Louisville, KY; daughter-in-law, Kelly Hume Glass; four grandsons, Tyler, Tucker, Kip and Memphis Glass.
Rachel is also survived by a sister, Bonnie Rich, and husband, Lenneth, of Glasgow, KY and two brothers, Bobbie Wilson, and Herold Wilson, and wife, Glenda, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than Rachel’s husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Trevor Glass; daughter, Sharon Glass; sister, Rebecca Wilson, and sister-in-law, Jenetta (Davis) Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 5th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, Neal Mathis will officiate, with burial to follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 4, from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday, January 5, from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
