Herbert Sims

Herbert Leroy Sims of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Charles Franklin Sims and Ethel Florence Blackford Sims, was born on Saturday, February 14, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana and departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab Center. He was 69 years, 6 months, and 13 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Summersville Baptist Church. He was also a Yellow Cab taxi driver.
Survived by his wife, Christy Ann Warner Sims of Greensburg, having united in marriage on August 29, 2014.
Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Herbert Leroy Jr. and Tammy Sims of Indiana; a daughter: Ethel Sims of Indiana; five grandchildren; a sister; Betty Welty of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son: Conrad William Sims; brothers and sisters: Charles R. Sims, Mikey Sims, David L. Sims, Donald F. Sims, Deloris J. Sims Smith, Alice Sims, Ethel L. Sims Lynch, and Betty K. Sims Welty.
