Isaac Thomas “Tommy” Yates 81 of Edmonton, went to be with his Lord and Family on August 15, 2022.
The Green County native was born in Greensburg, KY. on February 6, 1941 to the late Isaac O’Kelly Yates and Ivy Mae Bishop – Yates.
He was a veteran of the United States Army station in Germany, A farmer and Christian. He retired from General Electric.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 53 years: Dorothy Shearer Yates.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons. Isaac Ryan Yates of Louisville, KY. and David T. Yates (Melissa) of Coventry, RI. four grandchildren, David A, Kristal, Joshua and Joanna Yates of Coventry, RI.
His girlfriend and companion: Helen Christine Polson

Proceeding him in death were siblings: Andrew Yates, Elise Bailey and Geneva Yates.
The family honored his wishes as cremation was chosen.
Sego Funeral Home assisted the family with their choice.
A celebration of Life will take place at Greensburg Christian Church, 213 Brummal Ave. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 4pm CST.
