Wayne Thomas Leach, age 74, of Horse Cave, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the T J Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was a retired fire fighter for the Georgetown Fire Department in Georgetown, Kentucky. Wayne was also a retired Navy veteran who served as a medic in Vietnam. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Betty Jean Leach; one son Derek Leach.
Wayne is survived by one daughter, Kellie Leach (Todd), Bowling Green, Kentucky; three grandchildren, K.J, Kingston and Santana; a special caregiver Wanda Ray, Magnolia, Kentucky.
A graveside funeral service will be at 12:30 PM CST on Tuesday, December 16, 2026, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4:00- 8:00 PM. CST, at the Brooks Funeral Home.
