Barren County pulled away in the second half to beat Russellville, 65-46, on Tuesday night.
The Trojans improved to 3-1 on the season by outscoring the Panthers 41-26 in the second half.
Barren held a 24-20 lead at halftime, but posted an 18-10 advantage in the third period to lead Russellville, 42-30, afterward.
The Trojans had balanced scoring throughout the game. Nine different players posted points, led by Gavin Nunn with 13. Weston Shelton added 10 points.
Barren County hosts the Don Franklin Auto Hoops Classic on Saturday. Action starts at 1 p.m with Monroe County against South Warren at Barren County High School. Greenwood takes on Clinton County at 2:30, while Glasgow faces North Hardin at 4:30 and the Trojans take on Edmonson County at 6 p.m.
