Dona Lou Vincent, Bee Springs

Dona Lou Vincent, age 79, of Bee Spring, died Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leitchfield. The Jefferson County native was born on June 23, 1946 to the late Ezra M. and Dorothy M. Vincent Garner.

Dona kept a small circle of loved ones, and her loyalty to them was strong. If she loved you, she loved you deeply. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and cherished the friendships she made there. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting, creating many special keepsakes.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Renee Whobrey (Carlon) of Bee Spring, Ezra Brian Deering (Amber) of Bee Spring, and Chasity Livingston Cook (Don) of Mammoth Cave; grandchildren, Jared Sherrard, Gage Johnson, Cody Deering, Andrew Taylor Whobrey, Tristan Deering, Brandon Deering, Nicholas Deering, Mason Johnson and Marlina Livington; several great–grandchildren and siblings, John G. Garner (Sandy) of Morgantown and Bonnie Sue Laswell of Leitchfield.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Johnny Veto Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Lavonna Kay and Don Lyvers, and brother-in-law, Thomas Russell Laswell.

Funeral services for Dona Lou Vincent will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel with interment  in Christian Home Church Cemetery.

Visitation from 10 AM—1 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel.
