Sheila Trowbridge, age 85, of Three Springs, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow. She was a member of Joyners Chapel Church. She was affectionately known as “LaLa” by her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and sewing. Sheila loved to cook, she always found joy in feeding her family and friends. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, L.M. and Ilene England.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dalton Trowbridge; her two children, Traci Edwards (Terry) and Terry Trowbridge (Stacy); four grandchildren, Lindsey Compton (Nick), Chyson Edwards (Lakeasha), Kelsey Thomas (Gill), Makensey Miles (Conner); twelve great-grandchildren, Kinlee, Kealynn, Kalynn, Kavah, Chyson Henry, and Brinkley Edwards, Maelyn and Evelyn Compton, J.T. and Bo Thomas, Haisley and Creed Miles; one sister, Susan Gardner (Danny).
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume after 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joyners Chapel Church.
