Former Caverna Colonel Meet Ater picked up his first start at Menlo College on Wednesday. The college junior is in his first season at Menlo in Atherton, Calif. He spent last season at McCook Community College in Nebraska.
In his first start at Menlo, Ater scored two points and grabbed three rebounds against Stanislaus State. Through three games total, he is averaging two points and two rebounds per game. The 12 minutes he played against Stanislaus is his most of the season.
Menlo returns to action Saturday against Cal State East Bay in Hayward, Calif.
