Former Glasgow Scottie John Carter Myers wrapped his senior football season at Georgetown College by being named to the Mid-South Conference first team as a defensive back.
He closed the regular season number two on the team with 61 total tackles. He was seventh in the conference in total tackles. At safety, he also had seven pass breakups and one interception that he returned 34 yards.
A vote of the Mid-South Conference coaches selects the individual awards and all-conference teams. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players.
Sixty players earned all-conference honors, 30 on the first team and another 30 on the second team.
