Barren County’s boys’ swim team finished second in a meet at the Barren County Family YMCA on Tuesday night.
The Trojans posted 202 points, while Logan County won the meet with 571 points. Glasgow and Barren tied for third in the girls’ meet. They each posted 206 points. Monroe County won the girls’ meet with 230 points, while Logan was second with 227 points.
Landon Miller led the way for the Trojans with a second place in the boys 200 individual medley with a time of 3:29.90. Brayden Willis finished second in the boys 100 freestyle with a time of 1:09.01.
The Barren boys 200 freestyle relay finished second with a time of 2:32.04. Cole Hawks, Slayton Cropper, Jasper Conner and Devan Poland swam together.
Anne Rhoades Pike led the Glasgow girls with a win in the 500 freestyle in a time of 7:11.75. She was also second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 30.64. Ann Hughes finished second in a pair of events for the Lady Scotties. She was second in the 200 individual medley with a time of 3:11.27, and in the girls 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:34.91.
Karena Gschwend led the Trojanettes with a win in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:11.70.
