Jeanetta Kaye Sanders, age 83 of Hardyville, died Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Medical Center at Caverna. She was a member of Pleasant View United Baptist Church and retired from Memorial Elementary where she worked for 32 years. She loved all sports, stats and teams she could tell you about them, especially University of Kentucky. She was a life-long Wildcat fan whether it was basketball, baseball, football, and she never missed a game. She made it a point to send cards to everyone, birthdays, holidays, special occasions. Decorating for holidays was a must and she never left anyone out. She was a wonderful homemaker, she took care of her family and loved everything they did.
She was the daughter of the late Clay Trent and the late Adrine Lane Trent.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Kerry Trent.
She is survived by her three children, Teresa Estes (Junior), Barry Sanders (Diane), and Karen Huff; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Matthew, Beth Ann, Robbie, Patrick, Jerred, and Jonathan; seven great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Briley, Connor, Kennedy, Phoenix, Emma Jo, and Jett; two great-great- grandchildren, Emery and Waylon; a special nephew, Chris Trent.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Pleasant View United Baptist Church with Bro. Junior Logsdon officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View United Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will welcome friends from 2:00- 8:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Pleasant View United Baptist Church.
