On their next drive, the Trojans failed to convert on a fourth and one and gave Apollo the ball at Barren’s 33. The Eagles finished the drive with a 3-yard touchdown pass from Johnson to Landen Bratcher.

Kataviun Fryar blocked the extra point attempt and Apollo led 13-7 with 3:14 left in the second period.

The Trojans drove to the Eagles’ 14-yard-line on their next drive, but a holding penalty stalled the drive. Barren turned the ball over on downs.

The Eagles finished their first drive of the second half with a two-yard touchdown pass from John Edge to Williams. Barren stuffed the two-point attempt and Apollo led 19-7 with 1:28 showing in the third period.

The Trojans drove deep into Eagles territory on their next two drives, but came away without points.
