Tammy Denean Poynter, 60 of Savoyard, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born November 23, 1964, to the late William and Nina Mae “Louise” Poynter.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings William “Cowboy” Poynter, Darrell Steve Poynter, Richard Poynter and Patricia Ann Atwell.
She is survived by her sister Brenda Poynter McReynolds; nieces and nephews, Marcie Atwell, Sherry Branstetter, Michael McReynolds, Gary Poynter, Danyell Morrison, and April Poynter, and a special friend Camille Church.
In honor of Tammy’s wishes the family has chosen cremation. There will be a memorial service held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, October 31, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.
